Handpicked Tinta Cao, crushed into steel vats and fermented with wild yeasts. Left on skins for 9 days and gently pressed off. Aged in steel and bottled unfined, unfiltered with minimal sulphites added.
Electric neon purple in colour, this unique variety projects intense aromatics of violets, lavender and rose water. Light to medium bodied, this wine is best served chilled (properly chilled!). The 2023 Tinta Cao shows off flavours of boysenberry, plum and strawberry syrup. Powdery fine tannins round out the finish. A light, early release summer red that will age well.
